About ABC
ABC Growing Tree offers a variety of enrollment options for children from 6 weeks old to 13 years old throughout the school year, including before and after care and a summer program, to ensure that we meet the needs of all of our families. We are a private child care center, licensed by the State of New Jersey for the physical facility, educational standards and quality of staffing, and by the township for health and safety. We are open from 6:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. Our tuition rates are very competitive and can be requested at any time. Tuition includes a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and a morning and afternoon snack for each child.
Our Mission & Philosophy
We provide care that promotes physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development in a safe and nurturing environment. Each staff member will listen to the needs of all children, making them conscious that their thoughts, ideas, and feelings are important and have an impact on the outcome of each day. We encourage children to be respectful by using positive guidance techniques to build children’s self-esteem, self-discipline, and independence.
Our Commitment To Safety
We are one of the most secure child care facilities in Morris County and we are extremely proud of that. In addition to our closed circuit television, our classrooms feature fire sprinkler systems, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and fire extinguishers. Our building is constructed to BOCA 2C standards and is considered essentially “fire proof”. The doors of ABC Growing Tree are also secured with an electronic security system. In order to have access to the center, a valid passcode must be entered on an exterior keyboard. Each enrolled family receives their own passcode(s). We ask that families do not share their codes with anyone. In the event that another previously designated adult will be dropping off or picking up a child, then that person must ring the front bell and show valid ID,
which we will copy and keep on file.
Our Staff
All of our caregivers, teachers, and administrators are devoted to the well-being and success of each child. Our team is made up of well-qualified, professional, and caring individuals who are all trained in CPR and First Aid. All staff must undergo a thorough background check and fingerprinting prior to being hired, and then must also participate in a minimum of twelve training hours within the field of early childhood education annually. Staff members communicate with families on a daily basis to form positive, trusting relationships that last. We are here to help your child thrive.
